AKAGANE RESORT KYOTO HIGASHIYAMA 1925 is centrally located in Higashiyama, Kyoto. The facility is surrounded by many iconic sightseeing spots, including Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Yasaka Pagoda, Kodai-ji Temple, and Nene-no-michi. For this event, the venue was used as both a meeting point before and after the free walk and as a lunch venue. Before the stroll, the tour guide provided explanations of recommended spots, and drinks were available at "Salon de KANBAYASHI" next to the entrance, allowing guests to come and go during the walk.It was striking to see guests enjoying Kyoto’s traditional Japanese tea and discussing their next destination while resting their feet. For lunch, we served a fusion of Japanese and Western-style French cuisine. While Japanese cuisine continued to be served during the Kyoto sightseeing, the unique flavors of Kyoto French cuisine, which blends distinctive umami flavors, were particularly well received
