It has two banquet halls and a lobby lounge, and can be used for a wide range of purposes, from partitioning off the space for small groups to renting out the entire building.

An all-weather venue that combines culture and convenience, offering a luxurious view of the scenic gardens of Kyoto’s most famous site, Heian Shrine.
As soon as you enter the banquet, the scenic Shinen garden spreads out before you. This stroll-style garden with a pond brings together the best of the landscaping techniques from the 1,000 years of Heian-kyo, incorporating the borrowed scenery of Higashiyama and the Lake Biwa Canal. Its appearance changes with the seasons, with red weeping cherry blossoms in spring, autumn leaves in autumn, and winter scenery. Enjoy your banquet in a special seat with a view of the garden that changes with the seasons from the windows all over, while feeling the tranquility and culture.
Enjoy the Japanese garden “Shinen,” which was created by a group of famous landscape gardeners, bringing together the best of the landscaping techniques from the 1,000 years of Heian-kyo.
HEIAN JINGU SHRINE Restaurant & Banquet Hall is located on the south bank of Seiho-ike Pond in the East Garden of Heian Jingu Shrine. It was built in 1969 to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Heian Jingu Shrine and the 100th anniversary of Emperor Komei. Its Japanese-style irimoya-style roof, deep eaves that do not feel oppressive, and copper roof that has developed verdigris blend beautifully with the scenery of the shrine gardens, which have been designated as a national place of scenic beauty.

The venue is surrounded by modern interior design and overlooks Taiheikaku and Shobikan, the symbols of the shrine gardens.
SEIHOU-DEN
The venue is decorated with 30m of open windows and features traditional Japanese architecture.

Party venues that can be rented out for small or large groups
This venue is becoming one of Kyoto’s most unique venues, where you can enjoy the view of the garden from inside, as well as enjoy authentic cultural experiences before and after the banquet. In addition to renting out one venue exclusively for small banquets of up to 200 people, you can also rent out the entire venue for banquets of over 300 people, making it one of the largest venues in Kyoto.
