The neo-Renaissance style front facade, also known as the “Arc de Triomphe of Dotonbori,” has been preserved as it is, and the theater was newly built and reopened in 1997 as a theater that can accommodate the theater of the new era.
In order to lead the performing arts of the 21st century, this is one of Japan’s leading theaters that disseminates a wide variety of content throughout the year, including kabuki, contemporary plays, musicals, concerts, and more, both domestically and internationally.

The first floor has a European theme, with walls and floors finished in Italian marble, while the second floor has a Japanese theme, with seasonal Japanese paintings on display. A theater with a red theme welcomes guests on the third floor. A variety of performances tailored to the event will allow visitors to enjoy a special time.
